House of the Dragon takes place over a hundred years before the events of Game of Thrones. The story focuses mainly on the dysfunctional Targaryen family and their battles to rule the Iron Throne after the patriarch Viserys I dies. The family is split into two sections Team Green and Team Black, and among the incest and dragons, comes fierce battles that are sometimes too gruesome to watch.
