You’ll Be Surprised Which Love Is Blind UK Couples Make It Past Their Wedding Day

Bobby & Jasmine

Status: Married

Bobby and Jasmine are together and got married at the season finale. They’ve hurdled through the biggest obstacles of meeting each other’s parents and knowing each other’s social media presence outside of The Pods. “I want to be your safe space to tell me anything that’s on your mind,” she tells him in the show. “You are an outstanding guy.”

Bobby and Jasmine truly seemed like they were made for each other after he rapped his proposal to her. With clear communication and care, it’s might seem like a perfect match. But it surprising to learn that the two don’t follow each other on Instagram. It’s unclear if they made it to the altar, so we can expect that they could be on good terms and we just don’t know it.

In a post-interview for the show, Jasmine reflected her time in the experiment. “Love is bloody blind, it is, let’s be real here. I fell in love basing it purely on the conversations that we were having. This is a forever type of love. This is an until we’re gray type of love,” she said.

Bobby said the same thing, adding, “This experiment has been very intense. It’s been very emotional. It’s been incredible. But it’s only the beginning of our journey.” 

The two unfollowed each other on Instagram way before the finale. Jasmine asked her followers to guess if they were still together the day before the finale, but the two seemed to have a great time at the Love Is Blind UK screening of the finale.

Ollie & Demi

Status: Not married

Ollie and Demi hit it right off in The Pods and they seem to be in good terms after the show since they still follow each other on Instagram. Demi and Ollie sparked up a genuine connection with each other. Demi opened up about her endometriosis while Ollie told Demi that he has ADHD after concealing it from a lot of people.

In the preview for the wedding episode, Demi reveals to her friends that she’s contemplating the wedding. “Is it an ‘I do,’ or is it an ‘I do, but not for now?'” she asks. Meanwhile, Ollie might have other feelings that don’t point in the direction of romantic as he might think that they’re better off as friends.

However, it was Demi who had the final say in saying “I don’t.” As for her reasoning, she said,  “Because I’ve learned to love myself in a whole different light during this journey,” Demi replied. “I know what I want from a husband, and I don’t think we’re quite there, obviously. But it’s not, ‘I do not. I’m gonna walk away from you forever.’ It’s an ‘I do not, for now.’ Because honestly, the time we’ve spent, I feel like you’ve seen me, and I love you for that.”

Tom & Maria

Status: Not together

After being in a wonky love triangle, Tom proposed to Maria after he also had a sparkling connection with Natasha. Tom and Maria seemed to hit it off when they went to Corfu and brought the heat with all of their PDA.

In the wedding preview of the next episode, Tom confesses, “Maria would be an amazing match for me. There’s no doubt for that.” Meanwhile, Maria cried before the wedding wishing that her dad was there to experience the special moment.

However, Tom decided that the two weren’t ready to say “I do,” just yet.  “I love you. I just feel like right now is not the right time for me,” he said at the altar. “We’ve had some differences in values, and I haven’t had enough time to really understand how those differences will affect our life day-to-day.”

Benaiah & Nicole

Status: Marrried

Benaiah and Nicole had a very powerful connection in The Pods after she cut things off with Sam. The two shared their love of spirituality and travel and Benaiah proposed to her after episode 5. Though, Benaiah’s mom had some reservations about their relationship.

In the preview of the wedding episode, Benaiah was seen in tears seeing Nicole walk down the aisle asking if it’s the right or wrong decision. However, the two are happy with their decision in sticking it out til the end.

“You accept me for who I am, flaws included, which shows me you have an unconditional love,” Benaiah said. “We’ve been constantly challenged throughout, but rough seas make for good sailors and in those moments of tough times, our relationship has blossomed.”

“From our first hello, I felt like you were my kindred spirit. You understand me and see me in ways that I’ve never quite felt seen before, and I feel with you, life could really be an adventure,” Nicole said.

Sabrina & Steven

Status: Still Together (unclear)

A wholesome relationship created one of the first couples to make it out of The Pods together. They seemed to be having a lovely time on Corfu and moving in to their apartment together. Though, they had a splendid time meeting Sabrina’s family in Belfast, Sabrina and Steven do not follow each other on Instagram.

During the wedding, they both said “I do” while Steven professed his “unconditional love” for her. “I promise to love you every day and have the patience that love requires on the more challenging days,” Sabrina says. “There’s so much we don’t know, and our journey has just begun, but in your arms I have found a home. I want you to know that I choose you today and every day for the rest of our lives. I love you.”

Like other Love Is Blind couples who do get married during the show, Steven and Sabrina don’t follow each other back. A person named Sarah commented on his post with him looking out to the sea’s horizon, “There’s a better girl for you on the horizon,” she wrote.

Steven replied, “I can’t like this one! Lol” implying that he couldn’t like the comment. Sarah replied ” Haha I’ll wait” to which Steven replied with a laughing crying emoji.

Catherine & Freddie

Status: Not Together

Catherine and Freddie were an unlikely pairing to hop out of The Pods as they both seemed to have strong connections with other people. Though the two had very bad hiccups during their time in Corfu and when they moved in together, the biggest shock came when Freddie asked Catherine for a prenup.

Freddie’s sister doubles down on if he truly wants this for himself, and he looks pretty solemn when he meets Cat down the aisle in the preview episode. Meanwhile, Cat confesses that she’s never met a man like him before.

Freddie has the final say when he rejects the wedding at the altar. “This isn’t a goodbye,” he said. “It’s not a rejection of the love that we share. Part of me wanted to say yes and embark on this journey with you. But as I look into your eyes, I know that I’m faced with a truth that we both have to acknowledge. There are still mountains in life for us to climb and lessons for us to learn before fully embracing a lifelong commitment.”
