3Quency won Building the Band by building a solid foundation of “sisterhood” and their shining personalities. After winning the $500,000 prize, the group consisting of Nori, Wennely, and Brianna, still have a lot ahead of them. “What’s coming next for us is definitely nothing regular. It’s loud, it’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s empowering,” Brianna shared to Netflix’s Tudum. “Every week on the show, we were keen on making sure each performance outdid the one before. Let’s show them something completely different — different wardrobe, different creative, different visuals, different vocals. We just constantly wanted to reinvent ourselves, and what’s coming next for us is also a reinvention.”

SZN4

Status: Still Together

The runner-ups for the show SZN4 have no plans to stop. The group consisting of Donzell, Aaliyah, Cameron, and Katie are trying out to make their dreams come true by collaborating across state lines. “It kind of put this fuel underneath us,” Aaliyah told Tudum about not winning the grand prize. “We were like, ‘We’re not stopping here. This is just the beginning.’ We knew that we had found something so incredibly special.”

The band also spends time together whenever they can to make music. “We’re at the start of all this stuff. Even when it comes down to the music, we’re still learning each other’s voices and figuring out how we can make a story and how our stories connect,” Cameron explains. The group also performed at Netflix’s Summer event just days before the finale.

ICONYX

Status: Still together

ICONYX is the reborn Souldified, and both names still ring true for the group today. Despite living in different states, Bradley, Shade, Landon, Malik still want to make music together. Shade made a post of their performance at Netflix. “Summer Signed a waiver before this performance & I have no regrets. We just getting started!”

Bradley talked about the biggest obstacle to them on Tudum. “Literally just location. On the show, we are in an apartment [and] everything’s taken care of. But when you’re just taking the chance on your own … it’s a lot more serious.”

Though, it won’t stray away from the fact that they wanna make the own music individually. “We each have our own solo thing going, but given the show and how big of an opportunity this is, we’re like, ‘Let’s get our shit together, let’s make some records,’ ” says Landon. “We already have some crazy songs. We want to give people a show. We’re ready to hop on tour. We’re ready for anything.

Midnight Til Morning

Status: Still Together

Midnight Til Morning had some hiccups here and there, especially with Conor’s romance with Alison. However, the group has plans to release music after the group reconvened in Australia. “I think it was literally two weeks after we finished the competition, we flew the boys out. We were in Sydney for about a month in the studio together,” Mason told Tudum. “Since the show finished, we’ve probably spent three months solid in the studio just day in, day out. We’ve got a whole album ready to go.” The group reconvened on their Instagram in LA and made tributes to Liam Payne and Ozzy Osbourne.

Sweet Seduction

Status: Not Together

After being eliminated on Episode 8, Elisa, Alison, and Haley paved their own paths, and decided not to make music together. “We never talked about staying in a band,” Haley told Tudum. “We all had different paths so we moved forward individually.” However, the door is never closed on a reunion.

Siren Society

Status: Still Together

Siren Society still plans to release music after they were the first group to be voted out of Building the Band. “We’re currently writing our own music and discovering a sound that really feels like us,” the members, consisting of Jenna, Autumn, Noriella, and Erica, told Tudum. “We’re still dancing, still laughing, and still loving every second we get to perform and create together. We can’t wait to share our original music with the world very soon.”
