Who’s Still Together From Love Is Blind Season 8? Where the Married Couples Stand

Monica and Joey

Status: Not together

It all started so well for Monica and Joey, who were the first couple to get engaged on the show. They seemed to vibe coming out of the pods. They laughed together. But physically, they never seemed to really connect, or at least Joey didn’t really seem into it—and Monica noticed. Plus, Monica’s sister seemed to have a hard time warming up to Joey, and though that later seemed to be resolved, it did put a damper on things.

In the end, Monica stood up at the altar and said no, later telling the camera that she felt like she was “into it more than he was,” and explaining that she deserved someone who made her a priority. And honestly, we agree. Joey seemed like he might have been getting ready to say no too, but thankfully the show gave Monica a chance to speak first and walk out of there with her head high.

Taylor and Daniel

Status: Married and still together

There’s always one couple, we just didn’t expect that couple to be Taylor and Daniel. But despite starting out on shaky ground after Taylor accused Daniel of following and then unfollowing her on Instagram, these two actually became the strongest couple on the show. Who would have thought?

They met each other’s family. Not only that, introduced both sets of parents. They had a Christmas photoshoot together so they could give out ornaments at their wedding. And they really seemed to be not just willing, but ready to make things work. And by the time the wedding day came around, they both stood in front of their family and friends and said I do. Not a surprise to anyone at that point, though perhaps a surprise to anyone who skipped from the pod episodes to the wedding episodes. And it all seems to indicate the two are still together and happy to this day.

Sara and Ben

Status: Not together

Love is Blind Season 8 focused on Sara and Ben’s wedding first, giving it ample screen time and ending on a cliffhanger before the final episode was released as Sara was about to answer. That usually means there’s something juicy coming, and indeed there was. Sara’s answer to the question of whether she wanted to marry Ben was the one we were all hoping she gave, no.

In the end, Sara couldn’t take the leap. There was just too much. The TikToks talking about the type of man Ben was. Their fundamental differences in belief system. The church issues. The fact that Ben kept claiming he could become the man Sara wanted him to be, but Sara wanted a man who was already there, not someone she needed to hand-hold into learning things.

Sara looked really calm about her decision. Even Ben looked like he kinda saw it coming. And truly, no one watching could have been in any way surprised.

Lauren and Dave

Status: Not together

Lauren and Dave broke up before the wedding episode, and that’s probably for the better. After learning that Lauren was casually hooking up with someone—she didn’t even call it dating, more like a friends-with-benefits situation—before coming into the show, Dave absolutely shut down. And his inability to get over it made it Lauren kept having to apologize for something that happened before they even met, over and over again.

Worst of all, Dave never even let Lauren meet his sister or his friends, who he expressed had a big issue with her previous relationship. So, she never had a chance to explain. And then, he tried to turn it on her for not understanding. Then, after he broke up with her, Molly made it clear he was in the wrong, and only after someone else pointed out what a jerk he’d been, he apologized to Lauren and tried to ask for a second chance. Thankfully, Lauren didn’t give it to him. She’s better off.

Virginia and Devin

Status: Not together

Another Love is Blind Season 8 woman who said no was Virginia, who shocked Devin by getting a chance to hear what he had to say first and still responded in the negative. This all despite him signing the prenup she wanted, and despite saying only good things about him and professing her love for him. But considering the red flags from Devin in that conversation they had about birth control, his family being conservative and him testing the waters of whether she’d mind if he voted a different way than he did, we’re not even surprised.

She was saying the right things after that, but it was easy to see how that introduced some doubts in her. And though the doubts might not have been as big as in some of the other couples, Virginia just wasn’t sure. Not in such a short amount of time.
