Who’s Still Together From Love Island Games Season 2? The 1st Couple Already Broke Up

Lucinda & Isaiah

Relationship status: Not still together

Lucinda Strafford (Love Island UK Season 7) and Isaiah “Zay” Campbell (Love Island USA Season 4) coupled up on Day 8 and stayed together until the Love Island Games Season 2 finale, where they were announced as the winners after coming in first in the final duel. 

After their win, Isaiah also won the $250,000 grand prize, having received the most votes from his fellow islanders. He decided to share the money with Lucinda, and both left with $125,000. Lucinda and Isaiah, however, are seemingly not still together. Days after the Love Island Games Season 2 finale, Mert hinted that he Lucinda were back together with a TikTok of them at the airport. “Y’all thought it was over,” Mert wrote over the video. He captioned it “lol” and set the video to Charlie Puth’s “See You Again.”

Before her reunion with Mert, Isaiah and Lucinda confirmed their plans to date after leaving the villa in the Love Island Games Season 2 finale. “Obviously, having a great romantic connection here, I think benefited more than I thought it would,” Isaiah said. Lucinda added, “I wanted to [win] for Zay, as much as I wanted to do it for myself.”

Justine & Tyrique

Relationship status: Likely still together

Justine Ndiba (Love Island USA Season 2) and Tyrique Hyde (Love Island UK Season 10) coupled up on Day 8 and stayed together until the Love Island Games Season 2 finale, where they were announced as the runners-up after losing the final duel. The win would’ve made history for Justine, who won her season of Love Island USA, as well as Love Island Games Season 1.

During their finale interview, Justine and Tyrique confirmed their plans to date after leaving the villa. “There’s definitely a connection. Do you know what I’m saying? I’m not trying to not put too much pressure on it,” Tyrique said. Justine added, “I will say, even though we didn’t win, I feel like Tyrique was probably my favorite Love Island couple of all three seasons.” Tyrique then asked, “Even though we lost?” to which Justine responded, “Even though we lost.”

Toby & Sydney

Relationship status: Unclear

Toby Aromolaran (Love Island UK Season 7) and Sydney Paight (Love Island USA Season 4) coupled up on Day 8 and stayed together until the Love Island Games Season 2 finale, where they came in third place after losing the first part of the Megaduel. 

Though Toby and Sydney seemingly split right before the semifinals after Toby tried to couple up with Garbi Denteh (Love Island Nederland & Belgie Season 4), they seemed to be in a good place in the finale, as they left the status of their relationship up in the air. “Obviously, it’s not ideal [that we lost.] But I’m so proud of myself for making it this far, and I know I did my family and my friends proud, so that’s all that matters. I’ll take third place. Fuck it. Bronze all the way,” Sydney said.

Johnny & Gabby

Relationship status: Not still together

Johnny Middlebrooks (Love Island USA Season 2) and Gabby Allen (Love Island UK Season 3) coupled up on Day 13 and stayed together until the Love Island Games Season 2 finale, where they came in fourth place after a public vote from America.

During their final interview, Johnny and Gabby left holding hands, though they didn’t confirm whether they planned to date after leaving the villa. “I’m just gutted for both of us. We would have been great competitors in the Megaduel. There’s been highs, but there’s been some lows, as well. This is the lowest low,” Gabby said. Johnny added, “Since Day 1, I was like, ‘I’ve got to get to the finale. I gotta redeem myself from Season 1. It sucks to leave this close to it. But I’m still standing next to someone that I admire greatly. And I’m just gutted, as you would say, that we didn’t get to perform at the highest level.”

Johnny and Gabby’s Love Island Games castmates, Tyrique Hyde from Love Island UK Season 10 and Toby Aromolaran from Love Island UK Season 7, confirmed they were not still together on Snapchat after the Love Island Games Season 2 finale. The Snapchats revealed that Johnny had rekindled his romance with Andreina Santos-Marte from Love Island USA Season 7, whom he was coupled up with earlier in the season before leaving her to couple up with Gabby.

“True love always wins,” Tyrique captioned a Snapchat photo of Johnny and Andreina at the airport after the Season 2 finale. “Love always prevails,” Toby captioned his own Snapchat photo of Johnny and Andreina at the airport together.

Andrea & Josh

Relationship status: Not still together

Andrea Carmona (Love Island USA Season 6) and Josh Goldstein (Love Island USA Season 3) coupled up on Day 1. They split on Day 2 after Andrea was stolen by Charlie Georgiou (Love Island USA Season 7). They coupled back together on Day 3 before Andrea was stolen again by Toby Aromolaran (Love Island UK Season 7) on Day 4. They coupled up for a final time on Day 8 and stayed together until their elimination on Day 14 in the semifinals.

Josh and Andrea confirmed on “Aftersun” after their elimination that they planned not to stay together and just remain friends after leaving the villa, despite them both living in Miami, Florida. “I obviously just got out of something very, very recently, and I am not the type to serial date. For me, it feels like right person, wrong timing, but the amazing thing is we do live right next to each other, but we’re still going to be friends and get to know each other,” Andrea said. Josh added, “We kind of both talked about it like we’re both here for the game. But obviously, living close definitely helps, and I’m excited to get back for sure.”

Garbi & Kendall

Relationship status: Still together

Garbi Denteh (Love Island Nederland & Belgie Season 4) and Kendall Washington (Love Island USA Season 6) coupled up on Day 1 and stayed together until Kendall’s elimination after he lost an individual duel on Day 13. Garbi recoupled with Casey O’Gorman (Love Island UK Season 9) before her and Casey’s elimination on Day 14. 

Kendall confirmed in an interview with Swooon in October 2025 that he still planned to pursue a relationship with Garbi outside of the villa. “We don’t want to put pressure on each other on anything,” he said. “We know we live in two different countries, which is tough, but I know we both like each other. We both like each other, and that’s why I’m eager to have that conversation with her.”

He continued, “We created something really good in there, and I would hate to just see that just die right away, so I told her that when we get out, let’s talk about how we could just move forward from this and see what that looks like.”

He also revealed Garbi’s plans to move to the United States. “We even talked about. She told me, ‘Yeah, I want to move to America eventually,’” he said.

Kay Kay & Chris

Relationship status: Still together

Kay Kay Gray (Love Island USA Season 5) and Chris Seeley (Love Island USA Season 7) coupled up on Day 1 and stayed together until their eliminations after losing their respective individual duels on Day 8. Kay Kay confirmed in an interview with Us Weekly in September 2025 that she and Chris were still together but weren’t putting pressure on their relationship. 

“We’re just doing things at our own pace that is comfortable for us,” Kay Kay said. “There’s no labels or pressure yet. We’re just taking it as it comes and still getting to know each other. We literally just met two weeks ago. Realistically, there’s a lot I need to learn about him and there’s a lot he needs to learn about me, and we’re just having fun with it right now.”

Chris added, “We are just going with the flow and taking it day by day. There’s a lot we gotta learn and then a lot we gotta figure out. She’s in Dallas and I’m in L.A. right now. So we gotta figure out what that looks like. And going forward, we are seeing if we even want to continue that — which I’m sure we both do as of right now. It’s looking good. But like she said, no labels and no pressure. Just simply still getting to know each other how we were with no Villa and no games.”
