Married at First Sight is back, and it’s been a pretty historic ride. Not only did the show switch to the popular streaming site Peacock, but one couple announced that they were expecting while they were filming.
Five couples tied the knot in Austin, Texas, after being paired up by Pastor Cal Roberson, “Dr. Pepper” Schwartz, and Dr. Pia Holec. “People still want love and commitment. They believe in the union of marriage,” Dr. Pepper shared. “I think we have five awesome couples to marry in Austin.”
“These are not just random people we picked off the street and said, ‘Hey, look, you two together,'” Pastor Cal added. “There has been an incredible amount of research that has gone on.”
So who made it down the aisle and past decision day?

Meghann and Derek shocked fans when they announced they were expecting their first baby together on the show! A first for Married at First Sight viewers. @mafsfan reported that the two make it through decision day but aren’t together currently. In the reunion, Meghann talked about losing her baby and the mental toll it took on her.

Brittany and Will seemed like they were going strong, and @mafsfans hinted that the two stuck together after decision day but are broken up in the current day. The two also follow each other on Instagram. Will has shown off their relationship in the past couple of weeks. “The love is written in braille, the way you have to feel to understand 💞”

Pat and Rhonda are a unique couple in the MAFS universe in the sense that they follow each other while the show is airing, bu they aren’t together. The two have been supportive in the comments and sharing exclusive BTS photos. Pat posted a photo of the two on a date that never aired. “We did a private two step lesson, the owner/teacher was such a hoot.” “For never two stepping, you @patricj_tx picked it up soooo quick!” Rhonda commented. @mafsfans also pointed out that they lasted after decision day, but are broken up in the current day.

Jalyn and Josh walked through the aisle, and according to @mafsfans, they made it past decision day but broke up before the reunion. The two don’t follow each other for obvious reasons when it comes to Married at First Sight spoilers, but Josh did make a nod to their relationship in a post. “A little peek behind the curtain… wild to think how it all started 💍” he wrote in an November 4 Instagram post. “Fun fact about photo 3: before the wedding, Jalyn and I exchanged gifts and somehow ended up buying the exact same box. Crazy how in sync we already were 😂”

Belynda and Chad haven’t spoiled their relationship status on social media. The episodes after their wedding have been pretty smooth sailing, with a minor scuffle that’s eventually been resolved. According to @mafsfan, the two reportedly stay together after decision day but have since broken up. While Chad doesn’t have a trace of social media, Belynda posted a photo on her Instagram of them taking a selfie during their wedding, so things had to be smooth sailing right?
