Are Kaitlin Tufts & Hall Toledano still together from Temptation Island? No, they called off their engagement after eight years together and it left her in “total shock” according to an interview with Life & Style. Hall instead decided to pursue a relationship with Makayla Halstead.
“When he first walked into the villa, I honestly thought he was there to like say, ‘I’m over this. Let’s go home. Let’s get married tomorrow. And then as he got closer, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve seen this face before,’” Kaitlin said. “I honestly think I blacked out for a second because I was like, I don’t even know what he was saying, like watching it back. I’m like now kind of realizing what he was saying. I think I’m getting total shocked that I was like, ‘This can’t be happening for the second time.’”
Kaitlin and Hall from Charleston, South Carolina were the first engaged couple to come to Temptation Island. They’ve been dating for eight years and while Hall proposed, Kaitlin has thus far refused to set a wedding date. She’s hesitant because, three years into the relationship, Hall broke things off because he was feeling terrified of commitment.
Since then, they’ve made major strides and along with the engagement have purchased a house together. However, they seem to be in two different stages of their lives and the baggage of their past keeps coming back to haunt them. Hall is ready to settle down and have kids while Kaitlin wants to start a business and acclimate to life in Charleston. On the island, Kaitlin and Hall are looking to find clarity on how to move forward. Kaitlin hopes to understand where the disconnect lies. Hall thinks the experience will motivate Kaitlin to finalize their commitment and walk down the aisle.
