We’re well into the chaotic season of The Masked Singer! We can’t believe that some of these talented celebs went home during the season.
Group A pulled out all the stops when it was revealed that Buffalo actually comprised of not one contestant, but instead 3 celebs. While the lot has been eliminated, we got an NFL GOAT (literally), saw a young actress sing her heart out, a Grammy winner get her deserved comeback, and a veteran actress return back to her singing roots. There’s still a slew of contestants left who are competing to get a spot in the semi-finals, so who’s going to persist through each week to win the Golden Mask?

Take a look at all the celebrities who were eliminated on The Masked Singer.
Leaf Sheep was the first one to be eliminated from The Masked Singer season 12. The singer was revealed to be NFL great John Elway as revealed in the first episode. Demarcus Ware aka Koala from season 11 was Leaf Sheep’s celebrity ambassador.
Showbird was revealed to be Yvette Nicole Brown. The actress starred in NBC’s Community with Joel McHale and judge Ken Jeong. She’s had supporting roles in films such as (500) Days of Summer, Tropic Thunder, Repo Men, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, and received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her role in A Black Lady Sketch Show.
Ship is Paula Cole. With her distinctive voice and the ups and downs of her long career, the Grammy Award-winning singer had her friend Jewel as her celebrity ambassador. She’s been on the low for a majority of the early 2000s, but now she’s back with as much power and energy as ever.
Woodpecker is Marsai Martin who plays Diane Johnson in Black-ish. The clues were obvious from the start. Her on-screen grandmother Jenifer Lewis was her celebrity ambassador, and she had some smart clues from her young days in Hollywood.
Andy Ritcher is Dust Bunny and was eliminated for the first round for Group B. The Conan sidekick definitely stumped the judges with all his clues, but he most certainly has a knack for singing. “Singing has always been a secret ambition of mine,” Richter-as-Dust-Bunny said in his clue package. “When I was a rookie who first got into the biz, I had a super important job: Making coffee. Until I was asked to stand in for a person to test the lighting, and wouldn’t you know it, apparently I had a face for TV. Since then, I’ve collected quite a list of co-stars. Anne Hathaway, David Bowie, even Marlon Brando. Though no one’s ever seen that footage!”
Laverne Cox was unmasked as Chess Piece on Week 5 of The Masked Singer Season 12. After singing a strong rendition of Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman,” Cox revealed how Barbie helped inspire her growing up. “As a kid, I was a rich target for others to tease. It seemed like every piece of me was something others could poke at,” Cox-as-Chess-Piece said in her “Masked Singer” voiceover. “And on top of that, I loved Barbie. But the part that hurt was that I wasn’t allowed to play with her. The criticism and scrutiny continued over the years and made me question everything I love about myself. So, I had to take control of my own board. And the one thing that helped me heal was the one thing I was missing all along: Barbie.
Natalie Imbruglia was unmasked as Bluebell during the semi-finals for Group B. “I love dancing and singing, expressing my creativity,” Imbruglia said in voice-over. “Because there was a time where I had not a drop of inspiration in my bucket. I was at the top of my field, but when things stopped going my way, I was left wondering, does anyone still love me? My ideas dried up and it felt like I couldn’t put two words together to save my life. No seed I planted seemed to grow. And that writers’ block carried on for years. But it all changed the moment I became a mom. All of a sudden, with a fresh cut perspective, inspiration came flooding back. Now being here, I feel like the Bluebell of the ball.”
Surfer and shark attack survivor Bethany Hamilton was revealed to be Macron on Week 7. Macron dropped hints with a photo of them with AnnaSophia Robb and a shirt saying “Unstoppable Blooming All Year Long” with a rose on it. She says, “I’ve overcome a lot in my life, and no matter what comes my way, I know I’m unstoppable.
Week 8 saw the unmasking of Ice King who turned out to be Nickelodeon star Drake Bell.
Former MLB star Bronson Arroyo was revealed to be Sherlock Hound during Peanuts night. He went out when he was in a battle with Strawberry Shortcake when they sang “Shivers” by Ed Sheeran.
Goo was revealed to be NFL player Kobie Turner. He was saved when the judges pushed the Ding Dong Don’t Take It Off button so he could go to the quarterfinals but went home strong with “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls.

Strawberry Shortcake was unveiled to be AJ Michalka. She sang “Lose You to Love Me,” by Selena Gomez, as her final number.
