MAJOR Spoilers for The Traitors ahead. With everyone gathered at the Scottish castle and drama aloof, here’s who went home on The Traitors season 2. Only five episodes into the series, and there’s neverending juicy drama.
The Traitors is a reality show based on the party game Mafia where 22 contestants play as “Faithfuls” who try to make it until the end to share the prize money of $250,000. Host Alan Cumming picks out a set of “Traitors” whose goal is to eliminate all of the “Faithfuls” so that they could steal the money at the end. “Traitors” can murder “Faithfuls” and the rest of the “Faithfuls” must choose who they think killed the “Faithful” and banish them. At the end of each day, they all come together to vote for who they think killed them. A “Faithful” can also go into the armory and gain immunity which allows them to be saved and not killed. At the end of the series, the remaining “Faithfuls” can share the prize money if there are no “Traitors” among them. However, if there is one “Traitor” remaining, then the “Traitor” wins the money for themselves.
Season 1 brought the champion out of Survivor and Big Brother legend Cirie Fields and time will only tell on who will win the $250,000 prize. Who will come out victorious? The Traitors or the Faithfuls? Here’s a list of who went home on The Traitors season 2.
New episodes of The Traitors drop at 9 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. PT on Peacock. Here’s how to watch it for free.

On his time in the game, he told Collider: “I’m appreciative that I got the opportunity to play this game, [and’ even more appreciative that I got to play as a Traitor because that just lit me up. I was so excited. And then I also hope that people who enjoy the show, whether they’re fans of like Janelle, or Big Brother, or whatever reality TV show– that those fans appreciate how hard we played this game. And in particular, on my end, I tried to set up scenarios that people would enjoy watching.”

Janelle Pierzina was eliminated off The Traitors as she was banished by the rest of the faithfuls. “Much like in Big Brother, I played a very competitive game. But just like in Big Brother I was loyal, and I was honest. I’m a Faithful you idiots,” she said in her final moments.
As to what she would want to do differently in the game, she told Collider, ” “I would have really liked to calm myself down, and I really would have liked to play more dumb. I would have loved to, just not… well, not play basically. Just be really bad at the game, and just be like, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing. I think MJ is a Traitor, you guys,” even though I know she’s a Faithful. I wish I would have played really dumbed down because playing as a Faithful. As you know, if you are a Traitor- hunter or someone that has a really good read on people or has any sort of influence on anyone, you will be targeted. So maybe dumbing it down quite a bit.”

She talked about how their relationship changed after appearing on the show together to People. “We had to have this conversation and we’re basically like, ‘Hey, once we get to the castle, I’m Larsa and you’re Marcus and we’re not necessarily a duo anymore. You’re on your own. I’m on my own,’” Pippen said. “I feel like we’re both growing individually and this is our path. And I think it’s super fun to be able to experience this with someone that you care about and at the same time be challenged in your relationship.”

Love Island UK’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was murdered by a poisoned drink by Parvati in episode 4 of The Traitors. She reflected about the moment to Entertainment Tonight, saying that she was just having a great time in the mansion. “I was just in a very giggly, giddy mood, having fun with people and socializing and mocking people like, ‘Ooh, if there’s any Traitors in the room, we’re going to get you.’ I was just being silly, but to my surprise, Parvati was actually the one poisoning me.”
She continued, “But every time I watched that episode back, I’m like, those guys didn’t even want to kill me. It was a last-minute bad mistake, a strategic plan that went wrong. They wanted to get MJ and it all went downhill. And I think after my death, things just went chaos in there. And I died in an iconic way and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.”

Olympic Bronze-medalist Deontay Wilder voluntarily left the show in episode 3. Deontay’s turning point was when he was seen getting visibly emotional when it came to Maks Chmerkovskiy’s accusations. “Maks was one of the first guys that I met and I really kicked it off really, really well with him,” Wilder told the publication. “And we really built a certain type of friendship, a bond, and to be able to bear false witness against him when I really felt that he was [a traitor] because he started acting different and all that. We can go off of certain emotions, certain things that people do or whatever. You really have to have a watchful eye of things.”
Deontay called himself “a very emotional man in general.” He explained, “Although my profession is the hurt business, as I call it. But as a man, as Deontay Wilder, as a person, I’m a loving, caring guy that I love everybody and I want to see everybody succeed in life,” he said. “And I think you got the best of me being on the show.”

He recalled the instance he revealed to everyone that he was indeed a faithful and not a traitor. “That moment, to play into that kind of show with a format where you get eliminated, but on your way out you get the final word? I mean, that was worth everything,” Chmerkovskiy told PopCulture. “I stood there and I turned around, I’m like, ‘You guys got it wrong.’ … My dad had raised us with one phrase, it’s all about the end result. And at the end you were wrong.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Peppermint was the first one banished in episode 2 of The Traitors. On how she felt about the elimination, she told Vulture: “I went into the place as the only person from Drag Race and the only Black trans woman in the show. That’s a wonderful, momentous thing, and I was so proud to have been able to have that opportunity. Most people in the United States say that they don’t even personally know someone who’s transgender, so that’s an uphill battle. Most of the people who were in that castle said that they didn’t watch Drag Race.
I wasn’t on Survivor with Sandra and Parvati, but I know them and I love them because of that. Right? So I just didn’t have someone saying, “Oh, I watched Peppermint on Drag Race. I love her.” No one in that house ever said that. That was an uphill battle, with me trying to get to know people in the short amount of time that we had. I was trying to build genuine connections, but the few weak bonds that I had been able to build just were not strong enough to hold up to what they could have relied on, which is exactly as you describe it.”

Johnny Bananas was the first victim who was murdered. The Challenge star barely stepped into the castle before The Traitors voted him to leave. As to why he thought he was targetted, he explained to Entertainment Weekly that Traitor Dan Gheesling was probably the one behind it. “There’s no doubt that Dan is the one that made the decision,” he said. “Dan just saw me as not even necessarily a threat to his game, I just think he saw me as a threat in general.”
