This isn’t the first time that Cardi filed for divorce. The “I Like It” rapper confirmed she and Offset had broken up in an Instagram live on December 11, 2023. “I have been afraid to… not afraid but I just don’t know how to tell the world. I feel like today has been like a sign. The last time I got on Live I kind of wanted to tell you but I didn’t know how to tell you so I changed my mind,” she said.

A source told People days after the news broke that “They’re tumultuous. They’ve broken up and gotten back together and broken up again way more than the public has seen.” However, the insider added, “They’ve had really good times together.”
