Zach Bryan and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia are now over, and there’s drama about it. The podcaster and country singer confirmed their breakup in a post on Bryan’s Instagram stories a little over a year after they confirmed their relationship.
We know a lot about their relationship because they’ve shared a lot. In fact, LaPaglia once gave a full breakdown of their romance, from the moment they met to what led them to start dating in an episode of the BFFs podcast. She also said that she knew that what they shared was special after the two spent 18 hours in a car together, with Bryan clearly agreeing because they did nothing to keep the relationship private during the time they were together.

In fact, the two posted each other on Instagram attended events together, and constantly celebrated each other. So, why did Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry LaPaglia break up? And what allegations has she made since the two called it quits?
Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry LaPaglia first met on this day at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Chickenfry asked Bryan for a picture during the event, but the two apparently didn’t say much to each other on that occasion. Instead, she just asked for a photo, and the two went their separate ways.
On this date, Chickenfry confirms her relationship with Zach Bryan on her podcast PlanBri Uncut. By that time rumors about their relationship had reached a fever pitch after Bryan ended his relationship with Deb Peifer and the podcaster joined Bryan onstage at a concert in New York City
“I think I might have some stuff to address: I’ve been hanging out with a guy named Zach,” Chickenfry told her cohost O’Malley during the episode, later confirming his last name was “Bryan” and that the two had “started hanging out” around “three weeks ago.”
“It’s fun, it’s casual… just wanted to address it because the whole internet is freaking the f— out and people are doing s—” she said. At the time Chickenfry also said she initially wanted to keep the relationship private for as long as possible, but considering the speculation she decided to address it. “We’re just hanging out, having fun, and that’s where I’ve been, that’s what I’ve been doing, that’s what I’m gonna be doing for a little bit. We’ll see where it goes, and I’m happy,” she explained.
On October 22, 2024, Bryan confirmed via Instagram stories that he and Brianna Chickenfry had broken up, adding that he continued to “respect and love her with every ounce of my heart.”
“She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I’ll always thank her,” Bryan said. “I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways.”
Shortly afterward, LaPaglia also posted on her Instagram Stories, saying that she was feeling “really blindsided,” but giving very little context about what had happened.
Chickenfry finally went into the breakup and the relationship in general during an episode of the BFFs Podcast, claiming that the singer emotionally abused her.
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude,” she shared with her cohosts. “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him. My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad.”
To top it all off, she claimed that Bryan asked her to sign an NDA and “not talk about the relationship” and offered her $12 million and a New York apartment in return. Chickenfry turned him down, and now she’s talking about it to whoever wants to hear her.
