Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia (2023 – 2024)
Country singer Zach Bryan is dating podcast host Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. In an episode of the BFFs podcast, LaPaglia revealed that Bryan “slid into [LaPaglia’s] DMs” after she attended and praised his New York City concert in June 2023. The pair first met at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards when LaPaglia asked the singer for a photograph.
“He’s like, the nicest, most genuine person I’ve ever met. He’s so normal,” she said during the episode. “We did a f—ing 18-hour car ride together and … didn’t turn the music on once and talked the whole time.” She added, “That’s when I knew, like, oh this guy’s actually awesome. We got to know each other. We’ve been spending a lot of time together.”
After rumors started swirling about their relationship status, the couple finally went public in July 2023. “I think I might have some stuff to address: I’ve been hanging out with a guy named Zach,” LaPaglia told her cohost Grace O’Malley on her own podcast, PlanBri Uncut. When O’Malley asked for a last name, LaPaglia said, “Bryan. She shared that she and Zach “started hanging out” around “three weeks ago.” She said that their relationship was “fun” and “casual” and she wanted to address it because “the whole internet is freaking the f— out and people are doing s—.”
On July 14, 2024, the adorable duo celebrated their first anniversary of dating. Bryan shared a sweet Instagram post celebrating the milestone. (The post can no longer be accessed because he deactivated his Instagram account shortly after.) “Here’s to a year together. Happy anniversary and I love you so much Brianna,” he wrote in the now-deleted post. “Just about one of the only people that makes me laugh anymore and OFTEN. Proud to call you my girl.”
Meanwhile, LaPaglia shared her own heartfelt Instagram post celebrating the couple’s one-year anniversary. “A year full of loving harder than I thought I was capable of and laughing louder than any year before,” she penned in her caption. “You’ve made me appreciate all the things that were always right in front of me. You brought me back home to my family and you’ve helped me love myself again. There isn’t a damn thing I wouldn’t do for ya. My person forever. I love you my Zachary.”

On October 22, 2024, Bryan confirmed via Instagram stories that he and Brianna Chickenfry had broken up, adding that he continued to “respect and love her with every ounce of my heart.”
“She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I’ll always thank her,” Bryan said. “I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways.”
Shortly afterward, LaPaglia also posted on her Instagram Stories, saying that she was feeling “really blindsided,” but giving very little context about what had happened.
The influencer finally went into the breakup and the relationship in general during an episode of the BFFs Podcast, claiming that the singer emotionally abused her.
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude,” she shared with her cohosts. “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him. My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad.”
