This Year’s Neiman Marcus Holiday Catalog Includes $150,000 Falconry Set and a 25-Carat Diamond

Every year, luxury lovers wait with bated breath to see which fantasy items made the cut for Neiman Marcus’ annual The Christmas Book. Last year the catalogue included a $250,000 dinner for ten hosted by chefs including Daniel Boulud and Thomas Keller and $1,090,000 his and hers Van Cleef & Arpels watches.

Well, the 2013 catalogue has just been unveiled and rest assured it doesn’t disappoint—the items are just as crazy ever. Some of standouts include a $150,000 falconry set (we didn’t realize that falconry was even a hobby outside of Downton Abbey) and a $1.85 million “diamond experience” that includes getting your own 25-carat diamond and then tracing where it’s from with a trip around the world.

You’re probably wondering who actually buys this stuff (to be honest, so are we), but we can tell you this: Someone definitely is. In fact, last year, the 12 special edition McLaren 12C Spider sports cars offered up at $354,000 each sold out in just two hours.
