Noah LaLonde Reveals His 1st Impression of Nikki Rodriguez: ‘That Passion, You Can’t Deny It’ (Exclusive)

Noah LaLonde is getting real about his friendship with Nikki Rodriguez. The 27-year-old actor sat down with StyleCaster to discuss his firsts and favorites and reveal what happened behind the scenes on the hit Netflix show My Life With the Walter Boys.

 “Honestly, the thing that probably put it over the edge was how quickly we got the Season 2 renewal,” LaLonde recalled about his experience with the show’s immediate success. “Because we waited so long for the show to come out, and then when it finally did, we were just hoping we would get to do it again. We had to wait far less than we ever anticipated, and it continues to evolve.”

After two hefty and eye-watering seasons of the teen drama, Lalonde also developed close relationships with his co-stars Ashby Gentry and Nikki Rodriguez (His bi-coastal team, as he says). The actor had high praises for Rodriguez from the moment that they met. “She’s just such a professional, and [with My Life With the Walter Boys] having been my first major role, everything was so new to me. To see somebody come in so prepared and so professional, it was a little intimidating, as it was kind of a reality check—like ‘You better be serious or you better be good’ or else this person is going to be holding you accountable. That passion, that intensity, you can’t deny it. It’s what makes her her.”
