Hailey Bieber has a crazy amount of influence in the beauty world, and the proof is in our makeup routines. Thanks to her, we’re firm believers in blonzing and sparkly eyeshadow. So naturally, after she shared a tried-and-true foundation hack using Rhode’s cult-favorite Glazing Milk—we took notes. Glass skin is already a huge trend in 2025, and Hailey’s foundation routine is making us even more obsessed with that glow-from-within look. Sadly, the Rhode Glazing Milk comes with a hefty price tag that might be a little too much for us baddies on a budget—so we found a cheaper alternative that TikTok swears by. (It’s only $16, compared to $32 for Rhode!)
At this point, Rhode is responsible for so many of the beauty trends we know and love. The brand is constantly at the forefront of all the best skincare and makeup moments. And even if you don’t consider yourself a clean girl, chances are, you’ve still heard tons about Rhode. As much as we love Rhode, we don’t have the extra cash to try out everything from the brand—especially since we already splurged on the viral Pocket Blush. But thankfully, you don’t need to rebudget in order to try out Hailey’s foundation hack. In fact, TikTok tracked down a milky toner that’ll give you the same results for half of the price.
Byoma has some undeniable skincare gems on its roster, and the Hydrating Milky Toner has been all over our TikTok feed for being a cheaper alternative to the Rhode Glazing Milk. Not only is it the same texture as Rhode’s (making it perfect to mix with foundation like Hailey does), it’ll give you similar skincare benefits too. For only $16, the toner claims to hydrate dry skin and repair sensitive skin barriers. Us drugstore girlies love getting a bang for our buck, and this Byoma toner has major multi-use potential considering it can be used both in our skincare routines and when we’re experimenting with Hailey’s glowy foundation hack.
If your skin is feeling (and looking) dull, rest assured you can look as glowy as Miss Hailey Bieber herself with her favorite foundation hack. To get her signature glass skin look, Hailey simply mixes a milky toner with her foundation. She applies a stick foundation to the back of her hand, drops some toner on top of it, and then finally mixes them together with a brush before applying the concoction to her face. Although she has expensive taste in products, feel free to use your favorite drugstore alternatives instead—because it’s the method that leads to glowy skin, not the products.
As for the exact recipe, it’s really up to you. Depending on your desired outcome, you can either mix equal parts toner and foundation for super light coverage and extra hydration, or less toner and more foundation for added coverage. No matter what ratio you settle on, the results are the same—a dewy glow that looks far more natural than chunky highlighter.
